Edelweiss – an old favorite returns, and it’s done of the first white wines we made, Edelweiss, has just been released. The 2014 vintage is a fruity Austrian-style wine with lots of pungent apple and peach favors.

Everyone seems to like Edelweiss in its distinctive blue hoc bottle. It goes well with snacks – particularly salty ones like pretzels and potato chips. It’s also great with fish and pork dishes.

Served cold it makes a refreshing companion for any light meal.

We think you’ll like it too. Its a great wine for entertaining. Goes down easy, and while it is a dry white wine there is no bite, but rather, a clean finish that lingers on the tongue.
