Wow! Dinner and Wine on June 27th.

Let me paint a picture for you: Take fresh lean brisket and barbecue it over red hot charcoal flames until it is pink on the inside and crisp on the outside with just the perfect crust. Slather on your choice of bar-b-q sauce (from mild/sweet KC style to spicy Cajun). Then serve it with a side of St. Louis baked beans with bacon. Add sides of crispy Cole slaw, some creamy potato salad, and an ear of local Missouri sweet corn-on-the cob lathered with butter and salt. Do I have your attention?

Add a special presentation by Sommelier, Joyce DeNeal, on the place that American Norton has staked out in this country’s wine history, and a wine tasting of Norton in Reidel’s famous Norton crystal glass stemware, and you have the makings of a pretty special evening.

Oh my, what a special evening the Norton Release Dinner will be on June 27th showcasing our 2012 Biker Bar Red Norton accompanied by a great meal among friends of the winery.

It’s inconceivable that you may miss this event. Fear not, this Norton will be available in our Tasting Room. The year 2012 witnessed Missouri’s red-hot record setting summer where we shattered all of our temperature records and had one of the longest droughts in over hundred years. How did the grapes fare that summer? They say that “the grapes like to be stressed.” Well, come and see and taste for yourself. This may be the best Norton of our lifetimes!
